Would you consider moving into a mobile home in an area called ‘Tornado Alley’?

Not me. It’s a choice for me. When I decided to get out of Southern California I looked all over the country and weighed some of the inherent issues each area had. South and Southeast have hurricanes. Midwest has tornado’s. West coast has earthquakes and massive fires. East coast and the Northwest have snow. The desert is hot. Hmm.

I can deal with the heat. I built a pool and live near Lake Havasu and the Colorado river. Yes it gets hot here but if that’s the issue I need to deal with it seems simple to me. I watched California burn all summer. Rocks don’t burn.

Our biggest issue aside from the heat is monsoon season. Well, watching the idiots trailer they’re boats on the docks at the end of the day after drinking in the 115 degree heat should be deemed a natural disaster! I swear people line the docks with lawn chairs and score cards and rate the ability of the morons pulling they’re boats onto trailers. It’s an event for the locals and one to enjoy firsthand.

Monsoon season runs from Memorial Day to the end of September. Electrical storms are really impressive to watch. Humidity when its already 120 degrees out is not fun.
